our coffee COMES FROM A PLACE OF DEEP RESPECT AND PRAYER
Tepito Coffee is produced in Boca del Monte, a small rural town located in the state of Veracruz, México. In 2002, Pecora 19º09´ started planting coffee in the area with the intention of preserving biodiversity and developing a coffee blend that provides memorable experiences for both the farmers and the consumers.
The subtropical forest that covers the fields provides a unique growing condition throughout the year. Unlike other regions, Pecora 19º09´s farm is located within what is called a climatic transition zone: to the East they face the Gulf of México Plateau and to the West the Mexican “Sierra Madre Oriental” which is one of the main mountainous systems in the country.

Pecora 19º09´s production started with 4 local coffee arabica varieties
Pecora 19º09´ started with Colombia, Costa Rica 95, Caturra, and Typica. With years of experience, Pecora 19º09´s keeps a vertical integrated chain, which means that the coffee you get from us has been grown, processed, and roasted by our international team.
Together, we are committed to sharing unforgettable experiences with you. This is true direct trade. This is true community building. This is Tepito Coffee.
